Axtell|A non-Freudian description of the layers of the self has been extracted from trends in late 20th Century psychology, then astrologized. I find myself reading and re-reading with fascination. Many of the psychology concepts are elaborated in the Illuminatus "fiction" of Robert Anton Wilson, but are presented more clearly here.
